Itinerary
Day 1: Beijing.
Arrive Beijing and transfer to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure.
Day 2: Beijing.
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Enjoy a gourmet diner in a local restaurant.
Day 3: Beijing.
Visit the Great Wall of China and Temple of Heaven. Evening at leisure.
Day 4: Beijing - Xian.
Transfer and domestic flight to Xian to visit the Terracotta Warriors, an important archaeological site. Enjoy a unique dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5: Xian - Shanghai.
Walk on the ancient city walls of Xian. Visit the lively Muslim Quarter and explore the Great Mosque. After lunch, fly to Shanghai and partake in a Peking duck dinner.
Day 6: Shanghai.
Visit the ancient town of Zhujiajiao, a historic trading hub, with clever shops, an old market area and small alleys. After lunch, return to Shanghai and visit the Yu Yuan Gardens, the riverside Bund and Pudong area. Transfer to dinner at a chic local restaurant.
Day 7: Shanghai - Depart.
Day at leisure before your transfer to the airport.
